Names

What makes a name? What is the point of one? How does one come into existence? I dunno either. I was just trying to sound philosophical there for a moment. But we all know that...Kade can't do that! What, who is 'Kade' you ask? Why, it is me!

Who thought a nickname would stick so well? Back up and rewind a few months ago back to Sunday School, where we got a new teacher. Long story short, someone called me by my initials...KD (Pronounced 'Katie' to them) . The name stuck with the sunday school class. Today months later, I finally snapped and said that that is not my name. Then, we dropped the lesson...And everyone thought of a new name for me. My teacher thought of the name "Kade" (Not pronounced 'Cad', but with a 'Kay' sound, such as in the word "Jade"). Personally, I like it. It's something new, something different...Something that fits perfectly with all the changes I've made to myself this summer. For once school starts again, I shall be known as Kade...Or so I hope. But first, let me ask all of you...All...What? 5 of you? Does the name fit...? I also can't decide if I should spell it with a K, or a C. D: Either works pretty well I guess. D:

Until next time;

-Kade

First of all...you will always be Doxey. Kade just isn't really you. And if you stick with it...spell it with a K. C is kind of smug.

lol. It will take time to grow on you all! D: At first I didn't like it, and now I love it. I've already got slogans planned for when I run for Senior Officer next year! ;) Yeah. Expecting to have changed THAT much by then.
